Blame it on the cat!

Nah, don’t do that.  They get a bad rap too often as it is.  But switching to dogs for the moment.  Actually, one dog in particular.  Meet Cleo.

Cleo is already spayed and ready for her new permanent home.  She’ll make some family very happy. She’s available for adoption at the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley.   ASCMV is at 3551 Bataan Memorial W Las Cruces, NM 88012.  Their number is (575) 382-0018

History 101: 1981: Pope John Paul II is shot and seriously wounded in St. Peter’s Square by Turkish assailant Mehmet Ali Agca.

Music History: On May 13th, 1966: Mickey Dolenz, Michael Nesmith, Davy Jones and Peter Tork -- were first seen on TV as "The Monkees"

The “pre-fab” four.

The 101 number one song of the day was written by a team that first met in a dream when one of them was eight years old.

Felice Bryant was an elevator operator at a hotel where Boudleaux Bryant was playing a date with a jazz band. When he entered the elevator, she recognized him immediately because she had first seen his face in a dream she had when she was a little girl. They were married soon after and began collaborating in music. He wrote the melody and she wrote the lyrics. One of their songs was recorded by two people who also met at an early age but it wasn’t part of a dream – they were part of the same family and had been performing on the radio since they were kids. And on May 13th, 1958 they were responsible for the number one song in America.  Today’s song is “All I Have to Do Is Dream” by the Everly Brothers.

And get a load of this:

wedding kate and will

On one side is Cinderella and her Prince and on the other is Prince William and his new wife Kate.  And the bottom pictures shows Will’s royal cousins and Cinderella’s evil step sisters.  Are these similarities coincidence or deliberate?
