This man was so popular in Britain that when he toured the country in 1963 his opening act was the Beatles. The two songs that reached the top during the aforementioned period were “It’s Over” and today’s featured single…which took a little longer to get to number one in his home country but that’s where it was on September 27, 1964 for Roy Orbison (Pretty Woman)
