Unfortunately, the Postal Service is bleeding red ink and there’s talk of paring down delivery service to just three days a week.  Most of it is junk mail…

…and the bills will catch up with you no matter what!

Music History 101: July 26, 1969, a song related to a TV cartoon show entered Billboard’s top 100. It was sung by studio backup musicians Ron Dante and Toni Wine. One of the hand clappers in the background was Ray Stevens. The song would go on to be the biggest of the year...This was the song -–"Sugar, Sugar”

The 101 number one song of the day was the biggest hit recorded by a band that came to national prominence after they were signed to be regulars on Dick Clark’s daily afternoon music show. And no – it wasn’t American Bandstand.

The series debuted in the summer of ‘65 and the group went on to have nine top 20 hits before the decade was over. Although they were primarily known as a sixties band, their biggest hit came in the seventies. It was also their last top 20 hit. It was at the top of the charts on July 26, 1971 for the group once known as Paul Revere and the Raiders but now shortened to “The Raiders” and the song: Indian Reservation.
