Today’s featured artist had an affinity for collecting cars but somehow word got out that he collected a certain type of stuffed animal. As a result, people from all over the world started sending them to him to add to the non-existent collection. In no time at all, he had thousands of them so the rumor became a reality. It inspired a couple of songwriters from Philadelphia to write a song about it, which he sang in movie he was starring in about a truck driver who became a rock and roll singer. The movie was called Lovin’ You and the title track was the flip side of today’s 101 number one song of the day.
