Did you know…

That Aggie colors are crimson and white? Then you would have breezed through level one of Swap or Stop. How about this - This popular animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone airs on Comedy Central and is named after a fictional Colorado town. What is it? The answer is South Park. However, that got us to a discussion about the fictionality of South Park. Turns out, it’s a real place but not a town, rather more of a geographical area.

Today is No Housework Day, no bed-making, no dishes, no trash, no guilt.

Your 101 Number One Song of the Day was the brainchild of a producer – it was a TV producer, not a record producer, who thought it was a great idea. The person who actually recorded the song thought it was a lousy idea and was terrified at the prospect of going into the studio. She was one of the stars of a popular TV show and the producer was her boss. She said she could act but couldn’t sing. So he made sure she was backed up by some real pros including Darlene Love and Glen Campbell. The result was a song that America loved so much it arrived at the very top of the charts on April 7, 1962 for Mary Stone of the Donna Reed Show. Her real name: Shelley Fabares (Johnny Angel)

You will be allowed to use the proper names of people, places, companies and brands. The company says the move is to be more appealing to younger players.

Judges Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman also work on the British version of Dancing With The Stars. So they fly back and forth every week. For a charity in England, Bruno is stripping naked and dancing. He’s promoting a charity to donate clothes for needy people called ‘Give Up Clothes For Good’. They say the photo of the naked Bruno includes a strategically lifted leg to hide the naughty parts. We’re thinking…of all the people on that show we’d like to see naked…Bruno is way down the list.

KFC is coming out with a new sandwich – with no bun. You’re going to like this – it’s two boneless chicken fillets together…with bacon, cheese and sauce between them. It’s called the ‘Double Down’ and will be out nationally by next week.

Some are calling it “Angina on a Plate.” Which reminds us of a joke…about acute angina, but you probably know that punchline don’t you?
